November challenges - DT submissions

In November both of the design teams I'm part of are Christmas related. I'mm first show the cards for Scrap the Rainbow:
Non-tradisional Christmas cards.
The first weekend of November I attended the Scrap4Fun crop in Haugesund and was inspired to make some Christmas cards. The first four are in a rustic style based on some wonderful patterned papers and ephemera elements from FabScraps

This next card is based around the products from Papirdesign, particularly the wonderful patterned paper with the great tit. The shape die is from Studio Light and the coloured paper is from Bazzill, the rest is Papirdesign products, patterend paper, dies and stamps.

Then there's the cards I've made for Hobbygarasjen, there's 8 cards made from one sheet of patterend paper with a glourious bullfinch. The paper is Vivi Gade - Fugl og gren, and I liked it so well so O just had to make cards that showed off the paper itselt
In addition to the paterned and coloured paper and the stamped sentiment (from Papirdesign) there's some pine twigs diecut out of scraps of green paper.
I do like using large word diecuts and Papirdesign has one saying "God jul" the Norwegian equivalent of "Merry Chrsitmas". The diecut was covered with Wink of Stella before being covered with a layer of Glossy Accents

Then there's a couple of cards with cigar bands, where I used the stipe showing off the patterend on the back of the paper, why not use all of the paper, including what we ususally discard?
Finally i used some scraps to make some clean cards.

Here they are collected in one picture

Scrap the Rainbow - challenge #17 nontradisional Christmas cards

The 17th challenge we're running in Scrap the Rainbow is called "Non-traditional Christmas" so for that I've made a couple of cards that does not scream Christmas when it comes to the colours

First I've used a stamp with lots of cats and gifts from Aall&Create and combined them with a text stamp from Kort&Godt

The second card is inspired by a card I saw Kristina Werner make last year (or maybe earlier). I' used circle masks and inkblended through those and stamped Unity Stamps over. The strings have been drawn on afterwards.
