February DT-submissions

I just realised that I've totally forgot to show the various cards I've made for the two challenge blogs where I'm DT, first up Scrap the Rainbow:
The challenge was to make something red or pink and I pulled out the cute kitten from Unity Stamps. Paper: My Minds Eye, cardstock from Hobbygarasjen
Stamp: Papirdesign (text), Unity Stamps (kitten)
Ink: VersaFine Clair pinecone
Paint: Nicholsons Peerless Watercolor

The second blogpost I had for Scrap the Rainbow was a series of cards for children using a patterned paper sheet I got from a good friend of mine. I used red cardstock and red glittercardstock in addition, as well as dies, stamps and buttons from Papirdesign (and the kitten from Unity).
It's so fitting with colourful, clean and simple cards for kids, and if there is one thing I know is that it is never wrong to include a unicorn or a kitten.

Materials:
Paper: Cardbase from Craft Emotions, Hero Arts patterend paper, red cardstock from Craft Emotions, red glitterpaper from Best Creations
Stamps: Unicorns from Papirdesign and kitten from Unity Stamps
Dies: Papirdesign
Embellishments: Buttons from Papirdesign, bling from unknown
Ink: VersaFine Clair Nocturne
Water colours: Nicholsons Peerless watercolors

My card for Hobbygarasjen
Here the challenge was to make something for someone you love and I chose to make a card for my Mother, since second Sunday of February is Mothers Day in Norway. Her favourite colour is blue, but I so liked the red patterend paper from My Minds Eye, that I think she forgives me. Besides, red is the colour for love.
Paper: My Minds Eye, cardstock from CraftEmotions
Stamp: Papirdesign
Dies: Nested hearts (unknown)
Colour medium: Red Velvet Glimmer Mist, VersaFine Clair pinecone blekk

January inspiration

Happy New Year everybody, thought I'd kick off this years inspiration with a couple of cards from the two challenge blogs where I'm a design team member.
Godt nyttår folkens! Tenkte jeg skulle starte inspirasjonen for 2020 med to kort som er brukt som inspirasjon i de to utfordringsbloggene hvor jeg er med som designteammedlem.

The challenge is to use a picture already coloured or taken from printed paper.
I've used papers and picture from Maya Design. The text diecut and roses are from Papirdesign.
Først Scrap the Rainbow:
Denne gangen har jeg valgt å bruke et klippeark fra Maya Design sammen med koordinerende papirer fra samme produsent. Jeg har komplettert med diecut fra Papirdesign og blomster fra samme produsent.

The second card is from Hobbygarasjen, and here I've used stamps from Hero Arts, a wreath builder template from Gina K. and Misti stamping tool with inks from Versafine Clair and embossing powder from Nuvo.
Det andre kortet er for Hobbygarasjen og her har jeg kombinert stempler fra Heroarts, kransbyggestensil fra Gina K. og Misti stempelplattform med ulike farger blekk fra VersaFine Clair og embossingpulver fra Nuvo

Materialliste
Stempel: Hero Arts stempelsett
Blekk: VersaFine Clair (TwilightMedieval BlueBlue belle), VersaMark
Embossingpulver: Nuvo

Christmas cards - using dies

The calendar is showing 17. December and I thought I'd share a few cards I made for the Scrap the Rainbow challenge blog. I've used what I'd call nontraditional Christmas colours.

First one in Brown, gold and kraft. I realise unfortunately that the deer diecut in gold does not show up very well, but it is there. I've used Sparkle Medium through a Dina Wakley stencil, sprayed with Coffee Shop and Creme de Cacao Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels. The stamped banner is from the coordinating stamp set with the stensil from DW. The cardstock is from Bazzill and are in the colours Kraft and Java, the Gold glitter paper is from Best Creations. The die cutting out the greeting is from Papirdesign.

The second card is made using a die from Studio Light. The base is Kraft cardstock from Bazzill, the patterened paper from Kaiser Craft and the greeting is made using a diecut from Kort&Godt 8saying Christmas hug)

Growing in Unity Bloghop

One of the really cool things about being chosen as a Growing in Unity Girl (or Guy) is getting the chance to contribute to the Growing in Unity blog hop, and this time I was so fortunate to join.
The card I made for this post is made with one of my favourite new stamps from Unity, Scenic Route, and the motif is so fitting since we recently bought a new (used) car and it is a VW Caravelle. Not one of the old style as on the card, but still... And it is blue rather than red, but I thought "It's Christmas".

Remember this is a GIU blog hop so please continue to see what the rest of the gals have to show you.  Unity will have a prize drawing at the end of this blog hop so comment on all the blogs you visit to be included in for the prize.
Here is the list:

November challenges - DT submissions

In November both of the design teams I'm part of are Christmas related. I'mm first show the cards for Scrap the Rainbow:
Non-tradisional Christmas cards.
The first weekend of November I attended the Scrap4Fun crop in Haugesund and was inspired to make some Christmas cards. The first four are in a rustic style based on some wonderful patterned papers and ephemera elements from FabScraps

This next card is based around the products from Papirdesign, particularly the wonderful patterned paper with the great tit. The shape die is from Studio Light and the coloured paper is from Bazzill, the rest is Papirdesign products, patterend paper, dies and stamps.

Then there's the cards I've made for Hobbygarasjen, there's 8 cards made from one sheet of patterend paper with a glourious bullfinch. The paper is Vivi Gade - Fugl og gren, and I liked it so well so O just had to make cards that showed off the paper itselt
In addition to the paterned and coloured paper and the stamped sentiment (from Papirdesign) there's some pine twigs diecut out of scraps of green paper.
I do like using large word diecuts and Papirdesign has one saying "God jul" the Norwegian equivalent of "Merry Chrsitmas". The diecut was covered with Wink of Stella before being covered with a layer of Glossy Accents

Then there's a couple of cards with cigar bands, where I used the stipe showing off the patterend on the back of the paper, why not use all of the paper, including what we ususally discard?
Finally i used some scraps to make some clean cards.

Here they are collected in one picture

Materials
Stamps: PapirDesign
Ink: VersaMark
Patterned Paper: Vivi Gade - Fugl og gren
Coloured paper: Baxzill Pomegranate, Bazzill Raven svart kartong

Scrap the Rainbow - challenge #17 nontradisional Christmas cards

The 17th challenge we're running in Scrap the Rainbow is called "Non-traditional Christmas" so for that I've made a couple of cards that does not scream Christmas when it comes to the colours

First I've used a stamp with lots of cats and gifts from Aall&Create and combined them with a text stamp from Kort&Godt

The second card is inspired by a card I saw Kristina Werner make last year (or maybe earlier). I' used circle masks and inkblended through those and stamped Unity Stamps over. The strings have been drawn on afterwards.
