The challenge was to make something red or pink and I pulled out the cute kitten from Unity Stamps. Paper: My Minds Eye, cardstock from Hobbygarasjen
Stamp: Papirdesign (text), Unity Stamps (kitten)
Ink: VersaFine Clair pinecone
Paint: Nicholsons Peerless Watercolor
The second blogpost I had for Scrap the Rainbow was a series of cards for children using a patterned paper sheet I got from a good friend of mine. I used red cardstock and red glittercardstock in addition, as well as dies, stamps and buttons from Papirdesign (and the kitten from Unity).
It's so fitting with colourful, clean and simple cards for kids, and if there is one thing I know is that it is never wrong to include a unicorn or a kitten.
Materials:
Paper: Cardbase from Craft Emotions, Hero Arts patterend paper, red cardstock from Craft Emotions, red glitterpaper from Best Creations
Stamps: Unicorns from Papirdesign and kitten from Unity Stamps
Dies: Papirdesign
Embellishments: Buttons from Papirdesign, bling from unknown
Ink: VersaFine Clair Nocturne
Water colours: Nicholsons Peerless watercolors
My card for Hobbygarasjen
Here the challenge was to make something for someone you love and I chose to make a card for my Mother, since second Sunday of February is Mothers Day in Norway. Her favourite colour is blue, but I so liked the red patterend paper from My Minds Eye, that I think she forgives me. Besides, red is the colour for love.
Paper: My Minds Eye, cardstock from CraftEmotions
Stamp: Papirdesign
Dies: Nested hearts (unknown)
Colour medium: Red Velvet Glimmer Mist, VersaFine Clair pinecone blekk
