DT-bidrag Hobbygarasjen - alt er lov

Since I'm part of the design team of my LSS (local scrapbooking store), I recently made a card using a flowerstamp. But not in the way that Paper Artsy intended.
The stamp I used is from Paper Artsy:
And when I looked at the flower in profile I saw the face of a sheep, so why not make a whole heard

I've stamped and masked so it would not be total chaos and I didnt have to fuzzy cut all the sheeps heads. The colouring has been don rather easily with just grey and sky blue. The eyes were made with som black brads.

Materials:
Stamp: Paper Artsy Jofy-45

And

I love your beautiful cards. Looking forward to see more from you this week
Hugs :)

Please contact me with your address so I can pass it on to Unity and you can receive a bag full of wonderful stamps.

Thought I'd show a couple of Fathers Day cards that I made for Scrap the Rainbow, first one in red tones. The tractor was stamped with Distress Oxide in the colour Candied apple and then spritzed with water, the back ground was stamped with tire track stamps from North Star Stamps.

The second card is 4x12" with a diecut from Little Yellow Bicycle in the background, the tractor was first stamped in Luck Clover Distress Oxide ink before it was stamped again with VersaFine Clair Nocturen ink, shifted sligtly to the right.
Her er bakgrunnen et diecut ark fra Little Yellow Bicycle. Tekststempelet er denne gang fra Norsk stempelblad.

Growing in Unity - Day 5

And so it is here, the last day of my week Growing in Unity, what a week it has been.
Today I have but one card to show. The second Sunday of November is Fathers day in Norway and so I´ve made a card for my dear husband who´s a wonderful father for our daughter and his two teenagers.
I recently was at Papirfest, a weekend of crafting akin to JunkieFest in the US, and there I got to borrow some Distress Oxide sprays. I used them to make the background, before stamping a couple of stamps from the June kit of the month, the motorsykler was masked before the stack of suitcases was stamped.

When mentioning my husband... we got married this summer and I made the wedding stationary myself using Unity Stamps (of course).
The invitations looked like the card on the left (the one one the right was a test)

The place cards looked like this:

And finally the Thank you cards looked like this:
I used the Botanical Background stamp and embossed with japanese laquer embossingpowder on white, glossy cardstock, the envelope was stamped with the flower stamp from You are forever Beautiful with red ink from Marvy (but any red ink would do).

It's been a blast sharing my projects with you, and I hope I've inspired you to create a couple of things yourself.
And for the last time, leave a comment for your chance to with Unity stamps

Growing in Unity - Day 4

So here we are the penultimate day of my week of Growing in Unity, and we continue with the Christmas theme, I simply love Christmas.
This time I´ve used stamps from the September Kit of the Month, All Kinds of Holiday Love, and the pillow box that was included with the kit. The flowers were stamped with Versamark INK and embossed with gold embossing powder from Nuvo and coloured with Brusho pigment powders. I really like using the Brushos like watercolours and painting with them. In fact, I just love the Brushos the colours, the versatility and all the different ways Thea can be used. To embellish I used a little red and white bakers twine.

As always, leave a comment for your chance to with some Unity Stamps.

Growing in Unity - Day 3

Lovely Crafting People, here we are at day 3 for my week of Growing in Unity.
Today we´re getting to the first Christmas cards. I simply adore the Cuddlebug line and the Chrismoose and the Winter Bunny are no exceptions. I recently made a couple of birthday cards blending through a stencil behind a cuddlebug, and I was so happy with the resultat so why now reuse the formula? I´ve used a Tim Holtz star/swirl stencil with 2 Distress Oxides, the moose was stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Brusho pigment powders.

The second was done much in the same way, used slightly different colours.

As always, leave a comment for the chance to with some Unity Stamps.

Growing in Unity - Day 2

Hello lovely crafting people! Here´s day 2 of growing in Unity. And today I´m showing off my love of all things Harry Potter. I was all giddy with excitement when Unity launched the four sets of Harry Potter stamps, and just had to have them.
This first card was made using Distress Oxides with Lifechanging brushes to blend a background and then spritzed with water. I Stamped the lamppost and the doe with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. Actually the doe was first stamped with StazOn Platinum INK, but it didn´t show up the way I wanted it. I originally wanted to stamp a sitting cat, but it turned out I don´t have that. I stamped the sentiment on yellow inkblended watercolour paper and cut them up to only use part of the sentiment. The enveloped was stamped as well and the owl (Hedwig?) coloured with a white pencil and the heart coloured with a red Posca pen.

Stampsets used: Sending an OwlSomething MagicalShine out of Darkness

The second card was made using a Gina K wreathbuilder and the Something Magical stampset  The inks used are from VersaFine Clair and StazOn Gold. The gold frame around the panel is a gold glitter cardstock from Bazzill.

Leave me a comment for a chance to with a wonderful grab bag of Unity goodness.

Growing in Unity - Day 1

Hello crafty friends, greetings from Norway, here´s the first post of my week of Growing In Unity. Being a GIU-girl is one of the things I´ve wanted to do for a long time and finally I had the good fortune to be picked :)
I´ve been a fan of the Unity stamps ever since 2008-2009 and have some stamps from back in the day to prove it, though I haven´t used any of them in todays card.
Today I´ve played with Distress Oxides to make backgrounds for the beautiful stamps. First using the smooshing technique, the colours are chosen to create a sort of rainbow effekt. The stamp is from the «Say it Big» sentiment kit, it creates such a stricking effect.

The second card is a condolence card, with a blended rainbow and stamped straws from the «Insightful Meadows» stampset by Donna Downey, it´s an oldie but a goodie, and the sentiment is from the August 2019 kit of the month. The last thing I added to the card was a little Pearl Glimmer Mist, my motto in life is «Everything is better with a little Glimmer Mist»

If you leave a comment, you have a chance of winning a grab-bag of Unity goodness. I´ll be back tomorrow with some more cards
